Toby Keith Covel was an American singer and songwriter who played country music. He was born on July 8, 1961, in Clinton, Oklahoma, and died on February 5, 2024, suffering from stomach cancer. Covel attended Southgate Elementary School, Highland West Junior High, and Moore High School in Oklahoma. Covel graduated from Moore High School in 1979, where he participated in football teams and developed an interest in music.
In his young age, according to some sources, he intended to get an education in petroleum engineering at Villanova University, but he did not go to college and started working with his father in the oil fields of Oklahoma. Toby Keith started his career in the oil fields and then worked as a semi-professional player for Oklahoma City Drillers.
However, music was still his major passion. In his early twenties, he founded the ‘Easy Money Band’ and was singing in Oklahoma and Texas in bars and dance halls. His first self-titled album was issued in 1993, where his successful single ‘Should’ve Been a Cowboy’ was included.
Keith produced several popular albums and songs in the course of his career such as ‘How Do You Like Me Now?!’, ‘Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue’, ‘I Love This Bar’ and ‘Beer for My Horses’. Besides, he was involved in acting and record production.
He loved life in the countryside and outdoor leisure activities. Before becoming famous, he used to work as a rodeo hand, football player, as well as hang out at his grandmother’s tavern where he got interested in live music. He also liked playing in his band, watching various sporting events, spending time outside, as well as supporting members of the United States military. Stelen Keith Covel is an American entrepreneur and venture manager. Stelen Keith Covel is Toby Keith and Tricia Lucus’s only son. Born in 1997, he grew up in a family of musicians in Oklahoma. As per reports, he went on to study at the University of Oklahoma, where he pursued his studies and graduated before stepping into his career life. However, unlike his father, he did not choose to pursue a profession in music but rather in business. He has had a career in business consulting, venture management, brand development, and real estate investing.
Some of the businesses he has been part of include those in the restaurant and hospitality industry like 405 Burger Bar, Hollywood Corners, and Tequila Chulos. It has been stated that he is fond of outdoor activities. Football has been a big part of his life; he was chosen to participate in the 2013 Eastbay Youth All-American Bowl after demonstrating his skills in football as a kid. However, unlike his father, Stelen has preferred to enjoy music privately rather than pursuing a public career as a performer. Stelen Keith Covel married Haley Covel in November 2021. The full name of Krystal Keith is Krystal LaDawn Covel Sandubrae. She works as a country music vocalist and songwriter in the United States. She was born on 30th September 1985 in Norman, Oklahoma, the daughter of country music artist, Toby Keith, and his wife, Tricia Covel. She studied Communications at the University of Oklahoma and graduated with a bachelor’s degree.
Her father had encouraged her to first complete her studies before entering a full time career in the world of music. While studying she gained more practice in singing and song writing by competing in contests and performing live on stage. After her graduation she held a job for some time but then shifted to country music.
She started performing in contests from the age of thirteen years and performed in the Oklahoma Opry. Her first chance of being part of a major recording album came in 2004 where she recorded ‘Mockingbird’ with her father, Toby Keith. Later in 2013, she signed with Show Dog-Universal Music and issued her first EP album that included the song ‘Daddy Dance with Me’.
Krystal tied the knot with Andrew Sandubrae, who is a businessman with Sandubrae Energy, in 2010. Krystal Keith and Andrew have two daughters. The first one is called Hensley Jack and she was born in October 2015, while the other one is called Kirby Kaye and she was born in 2019. After having a baby, Crystal decided to take some time off from her career in order to take care of her daughter.

Shelley Covel Rowland is the oldest daughter of Toby Keith and his wife, Tricia Lucus. She was born on October 21, 1980, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. But unfortunately, very less is known about her school years and education as Shelly has always preferred keeping her personal life under wraps. She has never tried making any sort of a name for herself in the world of acting and music like other family members.
She has been linked to ‘SwingDish’, a ladies’ golf apparel brand which has been started by her in partnership with her mother and sister Krystal. Reportedly, she is interested in golf fashion, family life, travelling and being with her kids. Her association with SwingDish reflects her involvement in creating fashionable apparel designed for women who enjoy golf. It has been reported that Shelly got married to Brian Skaggs in 2018.
